WHAT IS FEED?
Five years ago we here at THEVINEYARDCHURCH began to gather food and essential items to give away to wherever it was needed in the local community, in an attempt to live out Jesus' command to love our neighbour. Today, FEED has become one of the county's largest food banks, giving out 70 bags of food a week.
HOW CAN I RECEIVE A BAG OF FOOD & ESSENTIALS?
Just come along to the church on Mondays between 10am and 12 noon. We'll be running a cafe where we'll be happy to serve you a free coffee and breakfast. Map to Vineyard. If you can't make a Monday morning or have just missed one then contact Ray on 01727 739060 or by email.
HOW CAN I DONATE ITEMS TO FEED?
You can drop off any items at the church during office hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm)
or on a Sunday morning (9am-1pm). If you'd like to find out what items are particularly needed, do pick up a FEED shopping list from the church's welcome desk, or download one below. Some people spread the word about FEED by placing collection box in their office or workplace, or ask their neighbours or clubs to contribute as a micro-community. There's no such as thing as too little too late - grab an item out of the cupboard on the way to church and drop it at FEED - every item counts!
THINKING ABOUT GETTING INVOLVED?

Supermarkets are now making FEED collections from St Albans stores!
To enable this to happen, we need team members to help man the FEED collection points and hand out shopping lists to supermarket shoppers! Can you give up an hour of your time one day? Upcoming dates... Sat 29th Mar, Sat 26th Apr, Sat 31st May.
You can download all the 2014 dates we need help below.
