Gather Grow Give

The reason the church is able to give in so many different ways to the community around us and beyond, is because of the financial tithes, offerings and gifts given by you, its members and friends, for the work of the Kingdom of God. Thank you.

I would like to make a regular gift online

  • Option 1  Direct through your Bank | Online or Paper

You can easily make regular (or single) gifts directly through your bank account by setting up a standing order. There are no charges for this method so we will receive the full amount that you give. To do this online these are the details you will need: Barclays - Sort code: 20-74-09 Account No: 00634913 Vineyard Christian Fellowship of St Albans.  (Or you can download and complete the Standing Order form below and return it to the church office for processing.)

With this option you will need to fill out a simple paper form to take advantage of the Government Gift Aid scheme (details below).  Please download the Gift Aid form below, fill it in and return it to the church office.

  • Option 2  Through Virgin Money Giving

Virgin charge us a small fee to cover their operating costs. For every £10 you give, we receive £12.15 with Gift Aid. A breakdown of the fees can be read here. Click on the logo below to be taken to our Vineyard page on the Virgin Money Giving website. You can Gift Aid your order by ticking the relevant box, including any other future online gifts, and also tell us where you want the money to be used, if it is for a specific cause, e.g. our Vision for the Future.

Gift Aid Explanation

The church is a registered charity funded almost entirely by gifts and offerings. A significant portion of this money comes from the tax we are able to reclaim. So if you are a taxpayer, please take advantage of the Government’s Gift Aid Scheme. You only need to complete one short form once or tick the relevant box online and this will enable us to reclaim the basic rate tax you have paid on any gifts you make to us; that’s a further £25 on a gift of £100 at no further cost to you. If you are a higher rate taxpayer you can also reclaim the additional higher rate tax you have paid.

Once you have completed the Gift Aid form, we can reclaim tax on all gifts you make whether by cheque, direct to our bank account or in cash (providing we know whom it’s from). Download the form below or pick one up from church.
