Join us in some of our various prayer opportunities:

Call to Prayer - these evenings are currently taking place twice a month on Sunday evenings from 7- 8.30pm. Where we are specifically praying and preparing ourselves for revival. All welcome.

Pre-service prayer - Sunday mornings (30 mins before each service) upstairs in the lounge. All welcome - just come along.

Timeout - creative worship and prayer. Saturday mornings - usually the 3rd Saturday in the month: A time to draw aside and chill from the hustle and bustle of business and family life, to reflect, pray, worship, hear from and speak to God. Everyone has the freedom to express 'what is happening in their lives' in different and creative ways, through silent prayer, spoken prayer, scripture readings, art (all materials supplied) or song. We start with breakfast: bacon, tomato, rolls, tea & coffee at 9.30am and then move into a time of worship at 10am. We finish at 11.30 am. Please check the calendar for dates or contact us.

Prayernet is an email based prayerchain set up for a quick prayer response to urgent, crisis situations. So that it doesn't become flooded with too many requests it is limited at present to the church community and their families and is only accessible to registered members of this website.  If you are interested in joining the prayernet to pray for others, or if you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing prayer in a crisis, please contact SallyAnn

Watchmen This is a prayer framework we have used since the start of the church. Once a month on a Sunday morning we 'change the watchmen'. There is an open invitation for people to commit to praying for 10 minutes a day, for a month, specifically for the Vineyard Church. The focus is on spiritual health and growth in our relationship with God, with one another and that God would provide all that we need to accomplish his will in this place. "I have posted watchmen on your walls O Jerusalem, they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth." Isaiah 62:6,7.

For many years this has ensured an almost constant stream of prayer. It has proved especially suitable for those unable to attend other prayer gatherings or Life Groups as it can be undertaken anywhere at anytime. Nevertheless anyone can partake in this valuable ministry. Watchmen bookmarks are available at the information points.
