Am I the only person who struggles to make meaningful friendships?
How can I be free from comparing myself to others?
How do I get my needs met by ‘spending time with God’?
How does social media impact our self-image?
If you’ve ever asked yourself a question like this then meet other like-minded women at our Women’s Meetup. Happening once a month, we gather to discuss, learn and share practical ways to implement and live out our faith in Jesus as we tackle a common cultural issue each month. These afternoons host frank, honest discussions – so are not for the fainthearted! To help ladies feel free to disclose, we won't be admitting children at these gatherings (except babies in arms).

Connect & Flourish
Rise is a diverse and welcoming place where women accept one another without comparison. It’s a great environment to connect and cultivate our relationship with Jesus, with other women, and to grow into the people God created us to be. At Rise we strive to nurture one another’s uniqueness, grow in our talents and impact our local community.
Join us at 9.45am for coffee & conversation before we move into a time of worship. We'll then look at one of the women of the Bible and talk about how we can apply what we learn from her to our own contemporary lives. So come and connect with us here, form friendships and discover more about our God and the plans He has for our lives to flourish!
Fortnightly WEDNESDAYS 9.45am-11.30am
Rise meet on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month (term-time only) from 9.45am - 11.30am. We ask for a £2 donation to help us cover costs, which includes a creché. There are a number of Rise Connect Groups who meet on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month (term-time), at various times & locations as they're hosted in people's homes. These smaller gatherings enable us to connect on a more personal level and develop deeper friendships.
When's our next gathering? Check the calendar or contact Sarina on 07818 400436.
Breaking the Barriers
Jesus calls us to be one in Spirit and in purpose.
But what does that look like for us here at Vineyard - women of different demographics, attitudes & lifestyles?
Our Weekend at Home this summer was structured around worship, talks, interviews and discussions as we celebrated the diverse characters of women and look to Jesus to form our collective identity as his Church. We also hosted workshops, from topics like ‘Confidence in the Workplace’ to ‘Creative Journaling’ to 'Project Manage Your Home' and offered plenty of activities throughout the day.
What did the weekend look like?

Over a hundred women usually make their way to each season's The Conversation, our Women's Evening Cafe. Enjoy a glass of wine & choose from an array of delicious desserts whilst enjoying some live acoustic music. The Conversation hosts interviews with everyday women describing how their own experience of knowing Jesus has impacted their day-to-day lives. It's a hugely popular and makes for a great social evening, so do invite your friends to meet you for a night out.
