Senior Pastor Role
Starting Date: September 2018
St Albans Vineyard, one of the founding churches of the Vineyard movement in the UK & Ireland, has a mission to ‘Make Christ Known’ by gathering the 'unchurched', growing in discipleship and giving away God’s love. With a solid 1000+ member base from our 30-year history and a newly developed facility, we’re looking for a Senior Pastor who senses the call of God to lead this church forward into its next season.
The successful candidate will be a visionary and collaborative team-builder who will take up the baton from the retiring Senior Pastor. You will be a skilled communicator with a sound biblical knowledge and theological training, who can inspire and equip the church to live out Jesus’ great commission. You will possess strong moral character, authenticity and humility. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills with a wide range of social, demographic and cultural backgrounds.
You will share Vineyard’s values and culture. It would be an advantage for you to have at least seven years' experience of working in the Vineyard movement, or in a church with a consonant spiritual culture, and a proven track record of leading in a church of 500+. Business and commercial acumen will also be an advantage.
